What’s the difference between Dynamic IP and Static IP? Which one should I choose?

Dynamic IP (Rotating Proxy): The IP address changes automatically with each request or after a set time. Best for large-scale data scraping, SEO, or price monitoring.
Static IP : The IP remains the same throughout a session or longer. Ideal for account logins, social media management, or long-term sessions.

Are dynamic IPs more likely to get blocked?

Not if you use high-quality residential or ISP rotating proxies. These simulate real user behavior and locations, making detection by target websites much harder.
However, poor-quality proxies or excessive requests can still trigger blocks. Use trusted providers and set proper request intervals and concurrency limits.

Can I use static IPs for concurrent requests? Are they slower than dynamic IPs?

Static IPs often have limited concurrency, especially ISP ones, since each IP simulates a real user.
They’re not necessarily slower—ISP static IPs can be very fast—but overusing them might raise flags.
For high-volume crawling, consider using multiple static IPs + concurrency control, or switch to rotating proxies.

Are static IPs more likely to get banned?

Not necessarily. Static ISP proxies (registered under real ISPs but hosted in datacenters) offer high trust and very low block rates.
The risk is only high if using cheap datacenter IPs, which are often flagged as bots.

Can I use dynamic IPs to log into platforms like Instagram or manage multiple accounts?

Not recommended. Because dynamic proxies constantly change IPs, platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or Gmail will likely trigger security checks, logouts, or even suspensions. For account management, use static ISP IPs or sticky residential IPs from the same location.

Which type of IP is better for scraping Google/Bing SERP results?
